Any Recommendations for Garden Wall Builder?

Post by NolaK » 16 Mar 2014 20:18

Greetings,

I am a BS newbie and looking to have a garden wall built. If anyone has suggestion as to the ‘who and how’ of getting this done I would appreciate some recommendations. Thank you!

Any of the local builders will be able to do this, there is so much construction going on at the moment so I suggest you get a Thai to ask some of the crews.

Cost should be approx 1-2 thousand baht per square meter.

Just and FYI: I went with dee-fence (dot) com

So far so good. They started quickly on my first project and are progressing well. I'll try to provide a full review once both projects are complete.

Wall #1 was well done and landed them the job for the 2nd project. As with all construction work there were a few things I should have kept a better eye on - where they dump the sand and gravel for the concrete mixing, keeping after them about where they toss their used materials, etc., but all in all I love the wall itself and it was completed on time. Looking forward to having the large garden wall done soon.

One note, I asked them to install frames for doors I purchased to place in this inner patio wall - frame instillation is obviously not their talent in life. I had to remove and replace them myself. Lesson learned and life goes on.

ALWAYS ...get the prices in writing first.and since you are happy I assume you did . A big problem in Thailand for farang and Thai's (but they don't seem to care) is the removal of left over materials from projects.. I always put in the contract final payment will not be made until all debris is removed and that does not mean dumped on the lot next door..
