Any reason?
Yes, the locals have been dumping their household food waste at the same place we leave what we have collected off the beach and they refuse to take that stuff.

The primary problem is that there are no bins in the area and people wont pay the few satang for the collection service, which is very selective of what it collects anyway.

For a trial period the Trash Heroes have changed their clean up day to a Saturday.

Meeting time - 8am
Meeting point - Roy Tawan

Please turn up to help if you can, those that don't want to collect trash can also contribute by donating bags, gloves or refreshments for the team.

Low season and rainy season now, very few people about, even fewer Trash Heroes so they will be suspending weekly cleanups until later in the year.
