might try sunrise resort, maybe they will pick you up...that being said if your friend can survive 8 hours on a thai train ...a moterbike ride to the beach should be a snap

I have read there is only motorbike transport here is this true? I have a spinal injury which makes this type of transport impossible for me.

sorry you didn't mention wheelchair, althou I have seen it done here a couple of times getting around in a wheel chair could be very difficult. sunrise has multiple levels as does the corral, most of the bungaloo's are in sandy surroundings afraid I can not help you at all. maybe someelse on the forum can

Palm Gardens will collect you (if they have availability at this time of year): http://www.bangsaphanguide.com/palm-gardens.php

You may also want to try these:

http://www.bangsaphanguide.com/theatre.php

They may also offer pickup service - but as said above these places are all on the beach so mobility maybe an issue.

I always opt that place for family trip where i can easily find transport services and accommodation. I love my family so i cannot see them in trouble.
