Building a swimming pool

Hi anyone have any experience on swimming pool costs? Not a large pool, maybe 4m x 10m

only experience I have with them is I had two at once, first and last...can turnout to be more of a pain in the ass than the enjoyment they offer

Yes, I have had pools and they can be a pain, but in Thailand I would want one

Building a pool is not as bad as they say, we have had 12 pools id Thailand, we always build how own pop round to Palmgardens

With the new salt water chlorinators pools are very much easier to look after than the older versions.
Neighbours just put a 10 x 3 m lap pool in.Its upped the electricity bill about a 1,000 baht a mth but maintenance is minimal.Proviso on that is that you dont have leaves falling in 24/7. Positive in Thailand is you can use it 12 mths of the year.

Have a look at ones that have been constructed in your area and talk to the owners.
I'm in Chiang mai and there are numerous pool construction companies but out of reach for you.

I used a local builder, the same one that built our house,to build our pool, 12x6 meters very happy, good tiles the best grouting, 12 mill re bar, 6 years still looks great,
