Weather Patterns

I am thinking of visiting next year and remember over the last couple of years some severe flooding in the Bang Saphan area's at various times. Can anyone advise me what time of year that this may happen, and also weather wise which is the best time to visit.

Usually floods in the wet season around October time.

BS does get more that its fair share of rain but weather is generally at its best from December to May.
