Going to Bangsaphan next week
I've never been to Bangsaphan, but I'm going this coming Friday 19 Nov. Plan to spend a night, then another night at Hua Hin before heading to Bangkok. Please advice nice, clean, and safe accommodation. Place to see, where to eat, things to do or what I shouldn't miss on this trip. Thank you in advance.

If you get time, go to the caves. About 1km before town on the left. There are signs for them.

We to are planning to come to Bangsaphan next week for a few days staying on the beach. Is there any need to book or should I ask.... are you expecting a large influx of visitors ? Would prefer to wander and choose on arrival
Re: Going to Bangsaphan next week
Still relatively quiet so there should be no accommodation shortages yet.

Thanks for that . We will be down next Thursday after 2 nights in Hua Hin. I guess there are buses travelling down from HH that can drop us in the near vicinity.buksida wrote:Still relatively quiet so there should be no accommodation shortages yet.

Train would be better as it takes you right into town, buses from HH will drop you on the highway.

Re: Going to Bangsaphan next week
there's a direct bus from sai tai talingchan bangkok bus terminal.
if my memory is good, second floor, deck 93
bus every hour
you can stop on the road at suan luang / 5 kms after the town- the last station is Bang saphan Noi -
and then you walk 1 km.

Re: Going to Bangsaphan next week
I drove from Ban Krut to Bang Saphan, went to Had Mae Lumpung and almost arrive Bang Bert beach before we decided to turn around and bang to Ban Krut. I made a left turn at Bang Saphan hospital then keep driving. I think I must be lost or something. Do anyone have map of Bang Saphan? I'm going to Ban Krut again this Sat, might visit Bang Saphan again if I have enough time. May I ask, are there lots of farang live in there, I saw a couple riding motorcycle. Been reading this forum for awhile, I thought there might be at least 50.

Maps of the area can be found here: http://bangsaphanguide.com/bangsaphan-maps.htm
It can be tricky to navigate the first time!

Re: Going to Bangsaphan next week
After having been lost a couple of times between Ban Krut and Bang Saphan, I have created a map using GPS, with only the main roads..
It can be found in this topic: http://www.bangsaphanguide.com/forum/vi ... ?f=3&t=155
