Not as far as I'm aware, but you can definitely get it done at Prachuap hospital which is far cheaper than BS anyway.

Apparently, Bangsaphan hospital has started price hiking for foreigners.

Spoke to someone that has had it done recently and yes, you can get it done in BS hospital but at a premium (around 30K per eye). Prachuap hospital would be substantially cheaper but you need someone to assist with transport.

Thanks for the advice, I only need one eye done having the other done with a detached retina, my wife thinks I would get better treatment at Hua Hin Hospital.

I've had an eye done at Hua Hin Hospital. There is very little treatment to be better. I arrived at 8. Had to lat flat on my back for an hour. Op took 5 to 10 minutes. 2 hours on my back and sent home. I don't really see what Bang Saphan or Prachuap could do worse.
