Fingers firmly crossed for you!
There are less than 20 people here and that includes wives and husbands - not exactly stressful

Not going until I get the appointment, most of us here in Suan Luang are still unvaccinated and most expats are over 60, so they will and should get priority.

Just hope there are some left!

Edit: can wives get it or is it only for farangs that have registered? Bit unfair on the mrs otherwise if she is lumbered with Sinocrap and the consequent travel restictions.

It was under the expatvac scheme set up by the foreign ministry so it is only for foreigners - and only those legally in the country

Ok, I registered for that weeks ago (and BCCT), but being under 50 and with no diseases am not holding my breath! I presume the local registration (that also hasn't notified us) will only be for the Sino-cocktail.

Good info though, its a glimmer of hope that they're actually sending decent vaccines down to the boonies here.

Another case of Covid 19 in Moo 9 of course this has not been confirmed by buksida yet so only a warning until it is confirmed by the god of Suan Luang . However those who do do need confirmation a worker a Coral hotel has tested positive.

What we don't need is more bullshit on here telling people there are massive outbreaks in SL, just sticking to facts and not idle gossip will be more helpful for everyone.

Yes, ONE person from the Coral was infected, not surprising really since the place has become a playground for the nouveau riche and crowds of hi-sos and Bangkokians with their flash cars, jetskis, kayaks, and boats, it remains busy while everywhere else has been forced to close. The Coral could be a magnet for covid at the moment, and lucky it has just been the one confirmed so far (though the fearmongers would probably claim more).

On a more positive note, more Expatvac registrations have been occurring here now that they're delivering Pfizer locally. Several have already had it, and hopefully more.

The process can be a little convoluted as are most Thai government websites (especially for those with iPads!).

"An entire market shut down because of covid" ... yeah right, reliable sources = gossip, I think we know how this works. Only the hospital can confirm where it actually comes from and how many cases are contracted locally (very few at the moment). Or should we all be bowing down to the new covid oracle?

I stand by my point that 3 cases (all imported) over a vast sparsely populated area is nothing compared to other areas in Thailand. Either way, this is going nowhere so let's keep this topic constructive.

Edit: daily totals are posted here for those interested (but they do not drill down into tumbons, just the entire amphur). There were +7 for ALL of Bangsaphan and Ban Krut yesterday: https://www.huahinforum.com/viewtopic.p ... start=2072

Buksida you wrote "The mrs went to that market yesterday, and I assure you it was not closed. Markets were told to close temporarily by the governor as a precaution, nothing to do with "covid outbreaks"."
So which side you on the market was closed or open? "

As a precaution to what ? maybe falling rocks.
This will be my last post as if I continue to argue with a fool you will bring me down to your level

I obviously have to make things simple for you - there was no covid outbreak in the market as you falsely claimed. I simply requested that facts are posted here not rumor or gossip or scaremongering which is rife in our community at the moment so I sincerely hope it is your last post as you appear to be arguing just for the sake of it.

Take a long look in the mirror before you label anyone else a fool.

It is no problem posting daily numbers here as well. Just say if you'd like me to stop.
