I wonder what my name David Brierley looks like transliterated into Thai.

David is usually เดวิด but a lot always depends on the person doing the transliteration. Brierley could be spelled a lot of different ways, some of which you wouldn’t even recognise if you heard them! 😂

Thanks, Osandpo.

I have visited Thailand many times but the language defeats me. I tried asking for cold water once and the waitress dissolved into giggles. Apparently I had asked for elephant water.

We talked to our local health volunteer yesterday in Ban Krut. She said as and when vaccine supplies arrive, a list of names of those chosen will be posted at the Tetsaban. Where they have contact details, a health volunteer will also try to inform the person. She said so far almost everything she’s aware of has been sinovac

I managed to fill in the BCCT form, but suspect I'll be bottom of the pile being the whippersnapper that I am!

Foolishly, I withdrew my registration in the belief Hua Hin Hospital had their act in order, and there were only 1,008 in front of me.

Some people already have appointments for this weekend.

Hospitals are cancelling appointments again. I'm on the BCCT list now but being under 50 probably won't be considered.

At this rate, it would be easier to catch covid and build up some natural immunity rather than wait for a non-existent vaccine in Thailand.

Or move to Bangkok :? I had a 40 year old friend receive his first AZ jab yesterday in Bangkok, They're all being vaccinated whilst the rest of the country is being thrown under a bus.

Whatever happened to the vaccines donated by US and Japan for Thailand's older population? Bangkok has the lot :!:
