More confirmed appointments for Pfizer for BS expats via Expatvac, but they're now being sent to Prachuap hospital this week.

Did they give you a 13 digit ID number to use with the Mor Phrom app which shows digital vax status?

Without that there is no proof of inoculation status - the govt wants everyone to use the app.

Let us know the procedure for getting the green vaccination certificate (which looks like this: https://www.huahinforum.com/viewtopic.p ... 61#p542361) when you go for your second jab at BS hospital.

After all, there isn't much point without that magic bit of paper!
OK, I had my second Pfizer jab at Bang Saphan hospital this morning. Took a while to find the registration desk (single unmarked desk on far left) as there were big crowds getting Sinovac & AZ shots
After the jab you pass the paperwork (no new forms for you to fill) to the desks at the back opposite the entrance. If you want a yellow vaccine passport you need to tell them there (they take your mobile number and say they’ll text you when it’s ready to collect).
They give ALL second jabbers a certificate (its b/w not green but it has the QR code and all the details. The QR code links to the Public Health Ministry site which then shows a confirmation screen with the key vaccination details (but not a name or ID nunber).
We noticed that the 13 digit reference number on the paper form included an X so would probably not work on Mo Prom to get the Digital Health Pass, so we asked them to give us a number we could use in Mo Prom. Took a lot of explaining but they were friendly & helpful and went off to check. It took an hour but we then got a new version of the vaccination cert with a usable 13 digit number. No letters this time, just numbers.

I gave it a while just in case they upload data in batches, and then went to the Mo Prom LINE page and clicked on Digital Health Pass. This is where you need a friend who reads Thai as there’s no English translation but it worked and I now have my DHP.
NOTE: when you key in the 13 digit pseudo-ID number you have to click one of two options for type of ID. I selected the lower one. Not as worrying as it sounds - the screen won’t let you submit unless you select the correct ID type so you know if you got it wrong

Thanks for being the Guinea Pig for this - very useful information. Hopefully, they'll be more familiar with the process when I go next week!!

I'll try giving them my pink ID card and asking them to link that to Mor Phrom instead of them issuing a fake Thai ID number.

Once the pass has been generated it seems all you need to do in future is go to the same Mo Prom LINE chat page and click the Digital Health Pass option

No problem. I knew I was in the first batch that BS hospital has processed for expatvac so it made sense to push a little so that they would know what to do when others ask the same thing. Made a couple of new friends while waiting!

Went for my second at BS hospital yesterday - the place was rammed but the small Pfizer group had its own little space.

Vaccine took 5 minutes, paperwork an hour and a half. They are not geared up to deal with farangs and confusion was king. I tried to explain that the vaccine number needs to work with the Mor Phrom app so shouldn't include letters. Only one of the staff actually comprehended this and took the passport and pink ID card away for half an hour to enter details into the system.

Everyone else was told to come back a week later to collect the vaccine certificate. Thais were processed and received theirs instantly. Within an hour of getting back home the app had updated with the info and the digital certificate and DHP was there. No mention of a vaccine passport whatsoever so I guess a trip to Hua Hin is required for that.

Side effects were minimal, a dead arm and achy bones the next day but no fever.

OMG, did you guys get a physical vaccine certificate?

My wife, son and I all fully vaxed at Hua Hin Hospital, but the only cert we have is electronic via Mor Phrom.

Yes, nicely printed one with all the necessary details and the QR code linking to the MOPH record

Not yet, they told us to come back a week later to get it (the original has a stamp and signature). For now, all I have is the digital one.

But I guess the fact osandpo have one, yours will be coming. It looks as though, whilst Hua Hin Hospital are doing a fantastic job, they seem to be falling down here. I should collect my vaccine passport from HHH next week, so I'll ask again then.

This is stretching the forum topic a wee bit, but does relate to covid restriction. Does anyone know of any public transport options from Bang Saphan or Ban Krut (or even Hua Hin) to Bangkok, that are still operating? Nok Air have cancelled almost all of their daily flights from Chumphon airport and there are no trains listed online either. I need to go soon and for various reasons can’t drive up

I think the trains are still running, but you'll have to confirm with the station.
