Just got a phone call from our local health volunteer in Ban Krut saying they’re now starting manual registration of foreigners. She asked me to take my passport to her restaurant tomorrow. (She’s busy on family stuff today)
Will update tomorrow on what if anything happens next

Yes, let us know - in a typically Thai fashion, every little area has its own way of doing things. Hua Hin is overwhelmed with apps and QR codes, and we have local clinics that call you up!

Well, the health volunteer took a pic of my passport and has my phone number and email address - we shall see what happens next. Maybe I’ll start receiving lots of junk mail and texts, who knows… 😜

There have been new updates for entering and leaving the province now that the numbers are going up: https://www.huahinforum.com/viewtopic.p ... start=1708

Your need to scan a QR code, quarantine for 14 days, and report in if you have symptoms.

Not sure. I don’t need to go through FB to open it.
It’s the same link as Big Boy posted in the Hua Hin forum vaccine topic on 6 June at 08.06am

Got it - it blocks non-Thai IP addresses so need to turn off the VPN.

No point me looking as being under 50, my name wont be on it until 2022 some time ... maybe.

https://members.bccthai.com/BCCT/asp/ne ... ponsorID=0

For what it’s worth, the good folks at the British Chamber of Commerce are planning “to coordinate and work with the Department of Disease Control at the Thai Ministry of Public Health to identify a solution [for us oldies and those with serious medical conditions who’ve been unable to register for vaccination]. [BCCThai] will also examine potential solutions with other bodies that support British passport holders in Thailand.”

They’re asking unvaccinated/unregistered Brits over 60 and/or with the high risk medical issues to give them contact details

The 6 July vaccination lists have been posted by the Public Health people.
Much bigger numbers than previously and they’re spread across all districts

The local clinic is calling people in Suan Luang so they don't have to spend hours scanning 90 pages of Thai names!

Had a quick glance and couldn't see any farangs on it - unless the names have been transliterated into Thai in which case farangs wouldn't be able to read them unless they're fluent in Thai - which very few are.

I found one farang name on page 90, a Mr Edward Delancy Arnold
Couldn’t find any farang names transliterated into Thai but I only scanned very quickly.
The phone calls are a far better way of reaching people, I agree
