Current weather and sea conditions in Bangsaphan

Yep, all back to normal now, nature has had its purge!

Weather still very warm and humid. Very little rain, but threatening!! A little cooler than the previous month when the tempertures were going upto 40 degrees.

Seas are calm and clear of Jellyfish at this time.

As we have moved to GK's now, we should be able to keep up a lot more with what is happening on the beach! Will keep you posted.

What's the forecast for the weekend, how is the ocean and visibility?

Getting rain most days now. Has been rather hot the last few weeks, but starting to cool down slightly due to rain most afternoons. Today there is a nice breeze with slightly clouding skys, rain moving in slowly. Seas are clam.

We have had rain evey afternoon for at least 2 weeks now. Nice and cool to the point of actually feeling cold while sitting at Montri's yesterday afternoon. The fishing boats are still out though as the sea is calm.

The seas are calm, the sun is out! It's been a good couple of days with no rain and a nice cool evening breeze!

The seas are still calm, no complaints of Jelly fish either!!

We have had no rain, for at least 5 days now, and getting rather warm, even the staff are complaining about the heat. I think we all look forward to the evenings, Whatever the weather we still have a moan. But remeber guys, this is still paradise!!

Last few days has been broken cloud and some blue skies - the odd shower but nothing heavy. Seas are calm.

How is the water this time of year? I know diving/snorkeling there isn't good, but is it at least clear this time of year?

Not very clear at all, the sea is relatively calm but the daily showers mess the viz up - its currently about 2 meters! Next month the wind will change and we'll see those really high tides: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=204

Doubt it will be diveable until the end of the year

Still getting the downpours at the moment, so nice and cool, but rather humid during the day if the sun comes out to play (not often).
Be careful on the beach, a lot of those nasty jelly fish around again!!

Have storms and floods reached BS yet? Already hearing that Chumphon is pretty wet, its El Nino year so the tides will be higher and it is unlikely BS will escape it.

Looks like its on its way, having quite heavy rain and winds. Tides are quite high already. Everyone is on 'Tide Watch' Why Not have taken in their tables and chairs. Will try and keep you all updated if anything changesl!!
