I suspect they didn't really try. .
Really? Did they reduce admission prices?

They were playing teams involved in the relegation battle. That makes it very unfair on other teams fighting for survival.

I only got to see the Suphan game on TV and it was a very lackluster effort from Prachuap. The Police were already relegated by the time we played them so it made no difference - I guess Prachuap played their second team but I didn't get to see that game.

Is it the fact they also include 1 new season shirt, 1 cool water bottle and many other privileges, so you are getting something for nothing, and your seat is guaranteed?

They do something similar at Ratchaburi, but we like to alternate stands according to weather, so of no use to us.

Your Thai is improving! I've messaged them and asked for English posts since they have a big farang following now ... but no response as expected.

Looks like PFC has a new graphic designer but still nobody that can post updates and news in English.

Same at Ratchaburi. It was suggested we do the same as Chonburi, and find a volunteer (looking at me) to do the English stuff. No thank you - the guy at Chonburi is voluntarily in full time unpaid employment. Besides, I have vowed never to become that close to a Thai Football Club again.

So I guess Prachuap are hoping for a similar volunteer with the correct skills to take the job on. If you know a willing volunteer, why not get them to push themselves forward. It can be fun, and you get privileged information.

PT Prachuap FC 1-0 Zhejiang Greentown FC

They came to Hua Hin yesterday to play an International Friendly. I didn't go, but the photographer (a friend) told me they played well against a very physical Chinese team.

PT Prachuap 2 - 1 Ratchaburi Mitr Phol
Pre-Season Friendly

OK, I know some of you don't rate the importance of friendlies, but thankfully for you the club's management team do.

Definitely the better team won. Unfortunately, I don't know how strong the Prachuap side were, but Ratchaburi were a few key players missing.

My thoughts on the afternoon:
  • I'll start with a downer (it does get better) - the state of the pitch was a disgrace for a T1 football club.
  • The Prachuap player wearing No.7 today, but playing centre-forward is built like the proverbial brick outhouse. He was scary to look at, and very fast with it. He had some very good moves, but certainly needs some fine tuning before the season starts.
  • Prachuap have 2 excellent wingers. One of them was playing against Thailand's best left back, and made him look like a Sunday league player.
  • Prachuap's keeper is vertically challenged. Didn't have much to do, so I'll leave it there.
Based on what I saw today, you guys have a better season to look forward to this year than me.
