Internet connection in Suan Luang
Internet connection in Suan Luang
Now we can have 3BB Internet connection in Suan Luang . Does anyone have experience with this provider?
Re: Internet connection
I can give you Hua hin experience. I used them for 2 years and the service was quite good. However, Expat TV and buksida blamed a few problems on them. I finally dumped them with the World Cup coming up, and I had my first real problem - they were to busy to fix it, and wouldn't give a forecast date.
Fortunately, in Hua Hin we have a choice, and I switched to True the next day - even better
The day I told 3BB I was switching, they tried to fix my problem 3 times

Yes, you can get 3BB in Suan Luang area, Nong has it at Roy Tawan.
[Edit] They are only slightly better than TOT - it all depends how good the cables are in your soi.

Who too often complains at TOT because the internet connection is broken for days, will be canceled immediately without notice. So it happened to me.
At 3BB foreigners have to pay for one year in advance, without any refund if it does not work.

Yes, again TOT has been offline in this area for over 24 hours - will also be cancelling as soon as there is a viable alternative in our soi.

Fibber Optic has arrived at my house
Re: Internet connection in Suan Luang
How is the fibre?
After a month in Burma with virtually no internet I'm looking forward to some rip-speed action!

Yeah I an curious also. Ther are signs all over the Suan Luang area promiting fiber connections for 590 bath, varying a little depending on connection speed.
Re: Internet connection in Suan Luang
Have been using TOT fibre for a couple of months - no real increase in speed but a lot better for reliability (goes off once a week now instead of four times a day)!
