Hi,

Does anyone know a decent house builder to construct a ~120 sqm two-story home in Bang Saphan? Apologies for asking many questions at the forum.

Bought a plot of 123 tarang wah (492 sqm) some 300m from Coral hotel/the seaside for 400k baht.

This may be a strange question but...do you know if there is a teacher in Thai in Bang Saphan or nearby? I am interested in building a house in BS and would like to study some Thai as well. I know there are schools in Hua Hin but would rather avoid the travel back and forth if possible.

Bang Saphan Yai, most likely located on the map inserted by "bajm" above. That should narrow it down sufficiently.

Talked to someone who claimed there is some sort of gasoline/petrol production facility on the hill some 800m from the beach. If true, obviously a concern for anyone who might buy land near it. Anyone who knows anything about this?

Nice, seems that internet is pretty decent in Thailand these days.

Sitting in a rented house in Hua Hin with a DSL connection - "Max 3BB". Actually, pleasantly surprised how good it is. I ran a test and can receive at 9.9 MBit/s and send at 0.3 Mbit/s. Could I get a similar DSL connection in Bang Saphan? What is the best internet available?
