Bus: you can go to Petkasem road, wait for a bus from the south to Bangkok and hop off in Hua Hin. Similar for the way back to Ban Krut. The best option in my opinion, would be to go to "Ban Kr...

But I still have the GPS coordinates for many tourist attractions in the area, like for instance "Montri's" is: N11°10'06.55" E099°29'54.57". I...

Re: thoughts about a long term stay in suan luang

For visas you can go to Dansingkhon immigration in Prachuab, its only an hour away.
Is Dansingkhon already open for a visa run to renew a 90 day visa?
Last time I still had to go to Ranong.

Re: searching for long term stay in Ban Krut

Golden Sea village is definetely more quiet.
They don't do bus tours anymore and the neighbouring resorts are further away.

I will send you a private message with the contact details.

Re: searching for long term stay in Ban Krut

Hello Deborah, In “Golden Sea Village” are several homes for rent. (www.goldenseavillage.com) All these homes are privately owned so you cannot approach the office of the resort for renting. There is a Thai lady who lives in the resort and she mediates on behalf of the owners of these houses. I will...

Re: Wat Kaew Prasert; Chinese torture temple

I was there yesterday and saw the creating a huge Buddha sculpture. A person in our group with Chinese Buddhist backgrounds explained the meaning of the torture sculptures. For instance, if you commit adultery during your life, you will go to hell and rats will eat your private parts. Buksi’s pictur...
