The BBQ idea was mulled over but was abandoned because of the amount of ran we have been having recently, especially in the afternoon and early evening.

There will be sandwiches and other nosh provided by benevolent locals.

If the problem was with the couple who I asked about the bar I can see why because they were most rude and arogant. I had some food and coffee at the coffee shop which is still there. I rode up to Ban Krut a couple of days ago and there was nothing really new there. There a couple of resorts that have either been renovated or are new on the coast south of Ban Krut.
