Taxi from Train Station to the beach?

Post by Senor » 21 Mar 2014 21:21

3 adults and a baby are arriving by train to Ban Krut with medium sized luggage. One of the 3 wheeled tuk-tuks should do. About how much and how easy is it to get one to the beach area?

Thanks.

There are always some 3 wheeled tuk-tuks waiting at the train station, when trains arrive.
A few years ago they charged 20 Baht. I have no idea what the current rate is.

Yes, it was 20b each.

We rented out a nice Saleng for 450b a day. It was a very nice one, lesser nice ones were 400b per day. It's a nice way to cruise along the strip/7-11 runs etc.

Sounds great as I would not want to hire a motor scooter. Where did you rent the saleng from please.
