Hi Folks

Are they still running ? i can seem to find really up to date info or contact details etc. Also so recommendations for nice food and cold beers in the eve would be handy.

Well thanks a lot guys

Palm Gardens, although a couple hundred feet from the beach is excellent and next door to Country Road, a great place for a cold drink and food!

Lola and Daeng are still running and are the budget options on the beach (may well be full during Feb though as it is the busiest month here). Also there is Ploy and Nong has some bungalows at Roy Tawan.

Being budget operations none of them advertise or have websites which is why you wont find much online, you just have to turn up and take your chances.

As mentioned above Country Road does good food and Montri's Bar is where the expats hang out.

You'll have no problems getting a beach bungalow in May - rates at Lola are around 3-400 baht a night.

Hi everyone,

We normally go to Hua Hin/Khao Takiab each Easter but it's time for a change! Do any of you locals have any recommendations for a beach side resort with a pool if possible, that has rooms that will take a family of four?

I have been searching but, but not having much luck because 3 is pretty much the maximum it seems on the internet, apart from a couple from a couple of places like Coral resort anyway.

Budget wise, not too bothered.

Cheers

Bob

There aren't many rooms that will take four people (the beach bungalows are tiny) so you're better booking two adjacent rooms or paying for extra beds (which will cost about the same), have a look here for accommodation options in the area: http://www.bangsaphanguide.com/accommodation/

Cheers for your reply, tbh I thought as much regarding larger rooms. Two rooms wouldn't work us, but I shall ask about extra beds.

Thanks again 👍

Try Palm Gardens, they supply extra beds: http://www.bangsaphanguide.com/palm-gardens-resort/

3-4 years ago we stayed at Palm Gardens with my Mother in law. Great place and had an extra bed. Three was easy so four should be possible
