Finding your way about Bangsaphan

The road from Petchakasem Road enters Bang Saphan and crosses the railway to the town centre. Immediately on the left after the railway there is a turning left that takes you to the bus stop, the railway station and Tae’s Restaurant. About 100 metres further down you will find the day market on the left. Opposite the day market is the Main Road that takes you to Bang Saphan Noi and the restaurant and accommodation area detailed in the Eating and drinking out in BangSaphan section.

If you carry on past the market you pass most of the banks, the night market and eventually reach Hat Mae Ramphueng. After turning right into the BangSaphan Noi road after 3KM you will find an area on the left where restaurants, bars and accommodation can be found.

  • The Main Road which runs from BangSaphan town centre to BangSaphan Noi is home to Biw Beams and Cotton Fields Guesthouse.

  • The road to the beach turns off the main road opposite where the builder’s merchants with the big TOA sign is found on the right. This road runs down to the beach and then turns right and ends at I-talay Restaurant & Bungalows. It is home to the Suanluang Resort, Why Not Bar & Restaurant, Roy Tawan Restaurant, and the Coral Hotel.

  • On the right about 100 metres before the beach a right turning, School Road, takes you to Palm Gardens, the Sunshine Resort and the BangSaphan Beach Resort.

  • A left turning about 50 metres from the beach takes you into Beach Road where you will find Why Not Bungalows, Lola Bungalows, Montri’s Coco Bar, Dang Bungalows and Dream Beach.
